Sustainable Agriculture

Throughout our years of dairy farming, we believed in the theory of what you put into your soils is transferred into the product you produce. With this in mind, we only use a minimal amount of agricultural chemicals and artificial fertilisers in our program and concentrate on building organic matter in our soils and self sufficient pastures. Soil health is important and so too is animal health. We want our animals to be happy and healthy.

​The experience we have gained over the years has helped us identify when both our plants and animals are not thriving. We live in a challenging environment and it is not always easy to balance plant and animal health while managing a profitable business, but we try to achieve this without to much external influences. We get a buzz hearing from other farmers that have purchased our cattle saying how well they have adjusted to other conditions.
